Friends of Austin Neighborhoods just released a newsletter congratulating Friends of Heritage for its new formation.

There’s also some information on an event happening tomorrow over in Brentwood, You Me & SF-3, a conversation on large-lot single family homes and their impact on our city’s housing crisis.

8:00 pm Lecture with Professor Jake Wegmann
Prof. Wegman, UT Urban Studies, will kick us off with a 30 min talk on the housing landscape in ATX, and how current protection of large lot single family homes in Midtown impact our city’s development.

8:30 pm Moderated Discussion Panel
Robert Deegan, lead planning architect for the Grove at Shoal Creek develoment, & Niran Babalola, founder of Desegregate ATX, join Prof. Wegmann to discuss how housing codes directly impact efforts to deliver on affordability and diversity goals in Austin.

9:00 pm Open Discussion with Q&A
